AirPods will be able to switch from one device to another thanks to iOS 14 and iPadOS 14
The AirPods were also given a spotlight during tonight's Keynote, to everyone's surprise. But while the rumors were about the release of a new premium headset, Apple preferred to focus once again on the functions.
With, once again, announcements quite significant. Ads that will radically change our experience with little headphones.

Big news , the AirPods will finally be able to switch from one device to another, transparently, and without any manipulation on our part.
The AirPods will finally manage the change of device
Thanks to this function, the headphones will therefore be able to understand that we are leaving a device for another terminal, such as an iPhone for an iPad, and the change will be immediate. >
No more fumbling around in the Bluetooth settings of our phone or tablet, therefore. By side effect, switching from one device to another will also be more transparent and more so we can start watching a video on our iPhone and switch tocontinued on our iPad without having to hack the platform.
Not bad, but there are better. The AirPods Pro will be enriched with a new function called Spatial Audio. It is based on algorithms and will allow headphones to create a more immersive experience.
With Spatial Audio, AirPods Pro will indeed be able to understand our position and us offering a more realistic sound reproduction.
Better still, the orientation of the effect will depend on our voice and the position of our screen. On paper, this is very promising, especially since this function will support 5.1, 7.1 and Dolby Atmos tracks. Apple, however, has not specified when this function will be deployed on its headphones.
